The (railway) station is located at Banegårdspladsen 4 in Kolding and at the back of it, in Manzantigade, you find the bus terminal.
Kolding Municipality
Since the late 1100s, Kolding has been an old seaport and is located at Kolding Fjord (the inlet). The city and the municipality are located in the Region Southern Denmark and its geographical area is slightly more than 605 km2. In total, 93,000 residents live in the municipality and 60,000 of these live in the city of Kolding. The city is the 7th largest in Denmark. Aside from Kolding, the towns Vamdrup, Lunderskov and the UNESCO town Christiansfeld are the largest within the municipality.
Throughout history, Kolding’s central location has been ideal for trade and export which still characterise local business. Today, the business of Kolding consists of various sectors; amongst these, retail and e-commerce that employ more than 20%. Hereafter, sectors like social and health care and the manufacturing industry that each employ about 16%. Also, sectors like shipping, knowledge-based businesses (lawyers, accountants and consultants), tourism, and finance and insurance are important for the business of Kolding.
In general the municipality of Kolding has more jobs than citizens of working age.
Dogs
You are usually not allowed to bring your dog to shops, but you are welcome to ask in the shop. You can find a hook where you can leave your dog on the leash while going into the shop.
It is normally forbidden to bring dogs into cafés and restaurants due to the requirements for high levels of hygiene. Your dog will often be allowed in outdoor seating areas but ask before you order food or drinks. You can also ask for water for your dog when you order something from the menu. That is usually free of charge.
On beaches, you can to bring your dog all year round – in the water and on the beach. From October to March, you may leave it to run without the leash if you are sure it will not harm other dogs or people and is under your control. On Blue Flag beaches you can take your dog on the beach, but it is not allowed to swim in the water at any time of year due to the clean water standards.
Dog parks are fenced areas where your dog can run free without its leash. However, you must be sure it will not harm other dogs or people and isunder your control.
Campers / Autocampers
In terms of parking, campers are on an equal footing to (passenger) cars and are allowed to park in parking spaces where the camper fits within the marked area. In practice, few spaces are big enough for campers.
Please note: You are not allowed to sleep in the camper when it is parked in a normal parking space.

Normally, veterinary hospitals are open on weekdays 08:00/8.30-16.30/17:00. Weekends they are closed. In case of emergencies outside opening hours, clinics cooperate with other clinics outside the Kolding area. Fishing
Regardless of where you fish in Denmark, you must have a fishing license, and if you fish with a fishing rod, you are an angler. If you wish to fish in streams and lakes, you must also have a fishing license.
An angler's license is required for everyone between the ages of 18 and 65. As a recreational fisherman, you must be 12 years old and have a license regardless of age, including pensioners.

Note that treatments must be payed immediately and directly to the dentist. For consultation at night, at weekends and on public holidays, expect to pay an additional fee. The minimum price is DKK 940 for a consultation / and a minimum of DKK 1255 on Sundays and public holidays, but prices vary depending on the treatment you receive.
